lEVEL dESIGN in A 2d eNVIRONMENT

Similar to smith n’ ste(a)l, pacific freight is a 2d prototype I worked on to answer a level design question:

“How much can a player endure in a game that is intentionally long with little to do in it?“

The game is a simple Point & click style showcase, similar in older retro games & newer ones like five nights at freddies. Gameplay wise it would be reminiscent of games like “The long drive” and “desert bus”, both famous for being games with long playtimes & not much to do.
